Connect Body and Soul...

Pilates

The Centre provides the most advanced and sophisticated Pilates Studio, the first in the Middle East, created by French artist, Jean Marc Sinan.

The Pilates Studio and facilities are dedicated to preserving and enhancing the legacy of Joseph and Clara Pilates. We aim to enlighten and educate our clients rather than simply give instructions. Pilates is suitable for people at all levels of fitness, from first-time exercisers to athletes and performers. It also has been described as the fastest-growing rehabilitation exercise program in the world, focusing on the abdominals, lower back, buttocks and shoulder girdle, for those who want to improve their fitness, posture and appearance.

There are mat essential classes as well as private classes. The centre occasionally hosts Pilates workshops, please check on our events page to find out more.

Dance

If there is one fact that anyone should remember about the art of dancing, it is that pure gist to “express and be free” of worldly reserve.

This notion is derived from our innate need to effectively cope with the demands and continuous shifts and turns of society. In any artistic craft, one can achieve this objective but Dance takes you beyond what can be considered proverbial by reaching out to that primitive impulse. By using our bodies to communicate thoughts and feelings, we explore possibilities through creative movement and develop capabilities that will help in recognizing the multiplicity of aesthetic differences and standards. The aim is to contribute to each individual’s growth, and Dance is just one of the mediums used.

Altering the formality and strictness of classical ballet, we enter the world of Contemporary Dance as you learn how to explore your inner self through body expressions. Learn about incorporating modern tramps with primal ceremonies and Southeastern rituals through the Neo-ethnic Dance. Go against typical Show Dancing by enrolling in Dance Theatre, which is enveloped in emotional depth, dramatic realism, and stark inventiveness. Explore the boundaries of your body in speed, energy and form along with coordination and concentration to the sound of jazz, pop, rock, hip-hop, and blues via Jazz Dance. Achieve that toned and flexible body, while releasing endorphins and increasing serotonin levels while having fun in our Dance Stretch classes. Let the physical and spiritual connect through Dance, only at la fontaine centre of contemporary art.
